AWS Cloud Architect

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Dublin-based consultancy client seeking an AWS Solution Architect. You will play a key role in shaping cloud strategies, driving architecture decisions, and enabling scalable, secure solutions that support critical business initiatives.

This is a hybrid role based in Dublin (2 days onsite p/w)

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive cloud architecture strategies to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives and support the adoption of best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams on cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in AWS cloud architecture positions.
• Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerisation (Docker/EKS).
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance in financial services.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in AWS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
